Our experience begins as soon as you board our vehicles (van or jeep) with our friendly guides. We will pick you up at your location (hotel, B&B, harbor, station, airport) and during the journey, you will receive the initial information about the volcano and the villages around Mount Etna that we will pass through. Once we reach our destination, after a short stop for the bathroom or a coffee, we will begin the tour with a light trekking excursion, suitable for everyone, at an altitude of about 2,000 meters. Passing through pine and birch forests, lava fields, and lunar landscapes, we will reach the edge of some extinct craters where the breathtaking view will leave you speechless. Next, we will visit a lava flow cave formed during past eruptions. Equipped like cavers with helmets and flashlights, you will visit its interior with our guide, discovering how it was formed and how it was used in the past. Centuries ago, residents near Mount Etna used these caves to produce ice. Our food tastings will bring the tour to a pleasant conclusion. We will visit one of the best wineries located on the slopes of the volcano. After a visit to the winery, we will have the opportunity to taste the best DOC wines and Etna specialties with a set lunch in a real "Cantina", with our expert guide always by your side. At the end of the lunch and food tasting, we will take you to your accommodation or meeting point.
