Description

Inaugurated on May 5th 1930, it has been created in the birth place of Vincenzo Bellini. Inside the museum there are three big halls and two small rooms: the sequence of the halls explains the life and career of the great composer. Paintings, prints, documents, antiques, busts, autographed manuscripts, a harpsicord, a spinet and two pianos. His iconography shows all the period of Bellini’s life in the different places where he carried out his career: from Catania to Naples, from Milan to Palermo and from London to Paris. Guided tours are available.
