Description
Horseback riding in Misterbianco puts you in the saddle for an hour in the countryside on the outskirts of Catania, among citrus groves. Certified equestrian guides and instructors recognised by ENGEA go with you the whole way.
Before setting off you get a short briefing on the basics of riding and the safety rules. Then the trails wind through old orchards and olive trees centuries old. On one side the Ionian Sea glitters, on the other Etna dominates the horizon. Along the route you glimpse small Etnean villages tucked among the hills, and you ride to the sound of hooves on the ground and the smell of Mediterranean scrub.

The ride suits both beginners and experienced riders. The maximum weight for riders is 90 kg. It takes place outdoors, so people with allergies should bring what they need. Light rain does not stop the outing. Food, drinks and transfers to the meeting point are not included.
