Description
A Catania street food tour puts the city's cooking on your plate, one stop at a time. Over about three hours a knowledgeable local guide leads you through its busy streets, starting in the lively fish market known as A' Piscaria, where fresh seafood, arancini and cannoli are on the tasting list.
From the market the walk moves on through other streets and historic corners of the centre, such as Piazza del Duomo and Via Crociferi, while the guide explains the culinary traditions behind each bite and points out the city's iconic food spots. If you are curious about it, an alternative such as horse meat can be added. The last stop is sweet, with torrone and more street food treats.
