Description
A Cyclops Islands boat trip from Catania fills a whole day, about seven hours, on a sailboat that is authorised to moor inside the sanctuary around the Isola dei Ciclopi. The skipper follows the volcanic coast and anchors beneath the castle of Acicastello and between the Cyclops sea stacks.
Several swimming stops are planned along the day. On board you find snorkelling gear (mask, fins and a protective jacket) plus a SUP, or a big floating mattress when one is free, for sunbathing. Wine, beer or soft drinks go with the meal.
Lunch is served on the boat: a Sicilian appetiser with local products, then a first course built on the day's fresh catch.
